ABM expands presence with acquisition of Ireland-based Momentum Support

ABM, a leading provider of integrated facilities services and solutions, announced that it has completed the acquisition of Momentum Support, headquartered in Dublin, Republic of Ireland, in a wholly owned transaction. cash. Momentum is a leading independent provider of facilities services, primarily concierge services, throughout the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Momentum generated annual revenue of approximately $70 million in 2021 and employs 2,300 people.

This acquisition reflects ABM’s ELEVATE strategy to grow through strategic acquisitions that expand the company’s footprint in attractive geographies and end markets. The addition of Momentum gives ABM access to Momentum’s blue chip customer base and provides the ability to sell ABM services to existing ABM customers who also have a presence in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Additionally, by acquiring Momentum, ABM increases its ability to serve customers in faster growing markets such as technology and life sciences, many of which maintain a significant presence in Ireland.

Momentum results will be reported as part of ABM’s Business & Industry segment. As part of the transaction, ABM acquired the interests in three legal entities that together constituted Momentum Support. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
